Bom dia do Rio!
After one month of traveling it was time to take a break and what city could be better for this than Rio?!?It is a vey vibrant and lively city and I enjoyed it a lot!
Sambódromo
I was very lucky and saw the Samba Schools rehearsing for the Carneval!Lapa- Samba, Caipirinhas and street art

Corcovado & Pao de Acucar
Cannot be missed when in Rio...The Girl from Ipanema
beautiful day at the beach...Museum of Modern Art
Rocinha- the other side of Rio
In my opinion, a Favela tour is a MUST when in Rio, so I did visit the biggest Favela in whole South America- Rocinha. It has more than 100.000 inhabitants and you can say it is a city within the city...I learned a lot about the life in a Favela and I can say that I felt more secure there than at Copacabana!
The Botanical Garden
If you have enough time and can visit other things than Corcovado or Sugar Loaf, then I definitely recommend a visit to the Botanical Garden.
