As you know, I cannot stay at a place for too long...I travelled quite a bit during the past years... During my studies I went to China, Australia, New Zealand, America, Africa.. I met lots of new and interesting people who became my friends and experienced alot- GOOD TIMES.. now, living the "real live" and working, it is time to catch up on some traveling, hence, I decided to go on an around the world trip from January to June 2015. Lost in paradise... Galápagos Islands
I am back to civilisation, back to mobile phone signal and back to Wifi :)
For 8 days I sailed through the Galápagos Islands on a very nice catamaran. Together with 8 other passengers (British, Irish, Israelian and American) and an amazing crew (we had the new Jamie Oliver on board) we shipped through the Southern part of the islands: Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Espagnola, Floreana, Santa Fe, Chinese Hat and Bartolome.
We saw untouched nature with beautiful beaches with white sand, turquoise water and blue sky (not a single drop of rain).
We saw sea lions, turtles, iguanas, flamengos, sharks, dolphins, pelicans and lots of other birds (a.o. the famous blue footed boobie) and rays. And we actually swam with most of them!!!
It was a perfect trip worth every penny spent (a lot of them, actually....) and I can truly say: it was PARADISE!!!
Some underwater videos shot with a GoPro...
