Buenos Aires for 7 hours

As my flight to Rio was leaving from BsAs, I returned for 7 hours and fit in as much as possible.
I went to see "El Ateneo", the coolest book store I ever saw (is is considered to be one of the 10 prettiest book stores world wide).

one last time... parilla :)

And I met up with Paco again to enjoy a good argentinian Steak for one last time.
By the time we had finished, we realized that I was about to miss my flight! So THANKS again to Paco for breaking probably 1000 rules and driving like a lunatic to the airport. They had to reopen check-in for me and now I can say I know the feeling when the whole plane stares at you as you are the last passenger to board :)

Mendoza and the Malbec

wine, vino, wein

I always thought I already found my favourite red wine, but, I have to say, this is my new favourite :)
Gladly, I was informed I could buy the one I liked most in Munich (Thanks, Stephan)...

As we've all done several wine tasting tours in different countries before, we decided to try something else and explore the different vineyards of Maipu with a bike..
So we took a local bus to Maipu and rented a bike for the day. They gave us a map of the different vineyards in the Region and we started "our" tour...

We didnt make it to that many vineyards (as we did a tasting at every one we stopped at) but it was for sure the best way to explore the region..

Bariloche- the argentinian Switzerland

What a view!

After crossing the Andes with (yet another) bus, I arrived in Bariloche and was surrounded by countless Argentinians enjoying their vacations as it is apparently THE spot for them to go...

Bariloche is surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains, you can go hiking, kayaking or take the bike along the Circuito Chico trail...
I was staying in a really nice apartment with a super nice view over Bariloche and the Lake Huapi Nahuel...

the NAVIMAG experience

taking a cargo ship is fun :)

well, to be honest, I was not so sure about this idea of taking the Navimag Ferry for 2 days on the Pacific ocean... After we got to "Puerto Chacabuco" were the Evangelistas was already waiting, I knew why.. the ship didnt look that trust worthy... But, I knew that many travelers before us took it, so I thought it was quite safe...
With a delay of 5 hours, we left Puerto Chacabuco to arrive in Puerto Montt 2 days later... And let me tell you, it was a great experience, both worth the long trip to get there and also unforgettable...
