Relaxing days in Cusco!
Before climbing Machu Picchu, I relaxed a few days in Cusco. It is a really cool city with such a good vibe.. so I reloaded my energy there :)
Went to the markets and had the local food experience... Luckily, we did not get sick.. you know what they always say.. never eat off the streets in 3rd world countries :)

Lago Titicaca
The highest navigable lake in the world...
I visited the Floating Islands "Islas Flotantes de los Uros" (entirely made out of reed) and did a homestay with a peruvian family on Amantani Island, again, without electricity or running water.
They were so welcoming and made my stay really unforgettable!
And, as the travel community is really small I met my fellow travellers from my 3 day Salar de Uyuni trip on top of Pachatata in the middle of Lake Titicaca...
