Salta and Paso de Jama

Salta

I am slowly making my way "up" and try to avoid the altitude sickness..
After another 24h bus ride, I arrived in Salta and toured the "Valle de Lerma". Salta is famous for its colonial architecture and is 1187m high.

Salta has many churches :)

ROARING Iguazu Falls

Existing of 20 major and 255 smaller waterfalls, the Catratas del Iguazu stretch over 2,7
km, some 82m high!
When there, you have to visit both sides, as you get a different picture from each side. The argentinian side might be the more spectacular one, but the brasilian side has excellent panoramic views to offer... but see for yourselves...

Looks quite "calm" like this

but this is what is expecting you once you get to the "garganta del diablo"

the brasilian side...

you see the little orange boat there?

yes, I got IN THE BOAT UNDER the waterfalls, awesome experience!!!

you get soaked :)
